[Stoves] Excellent video on CO2 emissions over time and by place.

To all,    (This is off topic for many of you, but it is exceptional and worth your time to see it.)   SPA: Show your students.  Tell your friends.

The video (with  links below) is both dynamic and low key.  Excellent presentation.  8 minutes.  Watch the location-based columns grow.  Great historical perspective, reveraling both the accumulated CO2 contributions (what each place has contributed during 250 years) and the current annual amounts.

Short Movie ”A Brief History of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Emissions”

The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK)  and the Urban Complexity Lab of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) developed an animated short movie that visualizes the CO2 emissions of the past and possible future.
The educational movie entitled “A brief history of CO2 emissions: And what difference we can make for tomorrow’s climate” explains the 2 degree goal, the Paris Agreement, and the European and German climate policy goals for 2020. Read more about the project.
